Kathy Edmondson: Introduction to Kathy and Her Works

Kathy's artistic life began in a high school ceramics class. While in college at Earlham, she spent most of her free time in the ceramics studio and was mentored by a classically trained potter who taught her both the discipline and the importance of creating from from the heart. Years passed, that included raising a family and serving as a Cornell Administrator, when a friend suggested she try working with glass. That suggestion led to Kathy's new phase of life. Come meet her and hear about her pieces, process, and how she continues to explore different modes of expression in glass. Kathy is always seeking to foster the heartbeat in the art she creates.
