Cornell on Fire & Extinction Rebellion Ithaca: Double Reality: An Art-ivism Exhibit to End Climate Silence and Name Climate Criminals
The artists represent a coalition of climate activist groups with a local presence, including Cornell on Fire, Extinction Rebellion Ithaca, and Scientist Rebellion Turtle Island. Cornell on Fire is a campus-community movement calling on Cornell--and ourselves--to confront the climate emergency. Extinction Rebellion Ithaca is part of a decentralized, international and politically non-partisan movement using non-violent direct action and civil disobedience to persuade governments to act justly on the Climate and Ecological Emergency. Scientist Rebellion Turtle Island is a multi-disciplinary group of scientists united by one thought: we understand the breadth and magnitude of the climate crisis and we are damned determined to do something about it.
