Vic: Out of Context

Vic is an Ithaca College senior majoring in Fine Arts. Their one person exhibit “Out of Context” will be at the Ithaca College PA Space, located on the Ithaca Commons.

About their work Vic says: I am a multimedia artist interested in exploring conceptual art through bright, colorful, and often extreme imagery. Ignorant representation of subjects and the use of cheap, accessible materials are consistent in my work as I push away from the field of fine art.  With my creations I aim to equally express my thoughts and experiences as well connecting to a larger audience. I hope although we all exist uniquely, my art spreads awareness, evokes conversations, and makes you ask questions. I seek inspiration in everyday life, often painting my strongest emotions and needs through direct words or abstract translations. In my practice, It’s important that my privilege as an artist does not coincide with neglect. As I continue being, I commit myself to be radically vulnerable, exposed, and ever changing in the name of art.
