Daniel Rothenberg: The Alchemis’s Press

Daniel Rothenberg’s one person exhibit “The Alchemist’s Press” merges the 19th-century photographic tradition of the kallitype with the physicality of printmaking techniques such as etching, linocut, and woodcut. The result is a body of one-of-a-kind prints where the color and geometric qualities of printmaking intersect with the organic textures and tones of the kallitype.  Daniel is a Rochester based artist who graduated from Nazareth University, where he studied ceramics and printmaking.

For Ithaca Gallery Night there will be a music performance by Ithaca based Mighty Jet Band - a semi-acoustic performance without drumset, from 6-7:30pm.
