Charlie Detelich: New work

Charlie is a planetary scientist and artist fascinated by the beauty of the bodies in our solar system. They use acrylic paint to create pointillism paintings of celestial bodies in a way that best embodies the joy they feel when they look to the sky. Pointillism is a technique where individual dots of color are carefully placed on canvas to form patterns or images and many of these paintings take months to years to complete.
