Jon Jensen: More Lamps!

Retired after a forty-year career in the areas of environment, nonprofits and philanthropy, Jon was most recently Executive Director of the Park Foundation in Ithaca.

Jon is the 2020 founder and sole craftsman of Upcycled Lamps by Jon Jensen. He takes found objects and converts them to working lamps. His lamps are 98% from reused materials and he has made over 600 lamps in 12 different categories. You can see his work at www.upcycledlamps.gallery.

He lives in Danby, NY with his wife Mel and daughter Emily. He is an amateur photographer with a special interest in street photography.
