I look at living things under a microscope as a hobby. This is boring, so I do other things like make nature-inspired art. My pieces show psychic offspring of bacteria, fungi, mollusks, worms, other invertebrates, maybe-whales, maybe-algae, maybe-flowers and maybe-trees in maybe-aquatic and maybe-terrestrial settings. Subdued colors, low contrast and strong textures unite the forms in an alien, dreamlike ecosystem.
